My stay was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, offering a peaceful retreat just outside Ubud. The restaurant served amazing healthy food, and the staff was really supportive during a critical situation. However, I encountered issues with the room I booked, including lack of security and unexpected construction noise, which dampened my experience. Overall, the natural beauty and food were superb, but the room situation and amenities could use some improvement.

The room I originally booked had major security issues, as the doors couldn't be locked, which was a huge concern for me. Fortunately, I got upgraded to a 'villa' room that was more secure and comfortable. It overlooked the lush surroundings, but I did notice a bit of humidity in the air.

The service was genuinely memorable. The staff was incredibly caring and went above and beyond—especially Neni, who helped my wife find her lost medication. They greeted us warmly and truly made us feel at home, but communication regarding room availability and construction could have been clearer.

Tucked away in a serene natural setting near rice paddies, the hotel is slightly removed from the hustle of Ubud. This allowed for a tranquil escape, but it also made getting back to town a bit tricky in the evenings since the shuttle ended early.

I had the most incredible experience at Soulshine! The atmosphere was vibrant and uplifting, perfect for a yoga retreat. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, and I loved waking up in the unique Bob Marley room with an outdoor shower. Although there was a slight humidity smell in our room, the exceptional service and stunning surroundings easily made up for it.
